MINDbasedHealing’s mission is to provide leadership in the development and application of mind-based practices to effectively address the psychosocial factors (i.e. emotional challenges, personality, stressors, and childhood adversity) that are determinant in the onset, exacerbation, and recurrence of chronic disease. The target is to define the most effective mind-based techniques to address core limiting beliefs, behaviors, and trauma with the goal of restoring health*.
*Health as defined by the World Health Organization in 1948 as “a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.
Your Donation Support
Education: We create content and videos as well as review recent research in mind-based therapies to inform the public of this modalities and how it can benefit them in addressing the underlying causes behind chronic disease.
Research: We do both independent research to understand the patterns behind particular diseases and test techniques to find the most effective program for each disease. As well, we collaborate with medical centers to participate in clinical trials to support our findings and demonstrates the need for this type of therapy in healing from any type of chronic disease.
